Yesterday I was reading a post on Nose Graze, HOW OFTEN IS TOO OFTEN WHEN REDESIGNING YOUR BLOG? It got me thinking about how I’ve changed my blog and that I don’t have a brand yet.

If you visit often, you’ll notice that I changed my colours from red and pink to what I have now. Then, today I changed my theme. I tried to keep most things booking pretty much the same but you will notice a few differences.

The main reasons I’ve made these changes is because 1) I’ve learned HTML and CSS to improve on my blog and 2) I just haven’t gotten my blog to the way I want it as yet. I try not to change too many things at once.

The biggest change I have with this theme is my header. I really hated that my old header had the name of my blog so small. I think the name is one of the first things people should see when they visit. Other changes include the location of the featured image on the home pages for each article and the “Read More” button.

I’m on the waiting list for a new header design by Hazel @ Staybookish. She’ll be designing a few other things for the blog and I hope that after that I can finally say, “This is The Review Court as I envisioned it”. I’m super excited about this except it probably won’t be ready till my blogversary in July.

If you’re a blogger, have you found your blog identity yet? If so, how long did it take you to get there?
